- HELP!
- My ASKEY 1414VQE modem sends and receives in Data mode, sends in Fax mode, but will not receive a
- Fax. This is using the UK terrestrial telephone system.
-
- The computer is unbranded: 33MHz 486DX and 8250 UART on COM2.
- The software is Win 3.1 and Delrina WinFax Lite v3.0.
-
- On my Compaq Aero (i.e. with 16550 UART) it works fine under WFWG 3.11 and the same version of
- WinFax Lite.
-
- Presumably the Modem itself is OK, as it works with the Compaq.
-
- Is the difference of UART and/or OS significant, and how should I set it up to work properly?
-
- Any help greatly appreciated!!!
